| Introduction | Gary and Jeannine have been on three short-term missions to The Centre for Christian Education. In 2004 they joined Jerry and Mavis, as well as Gary's sister, Joann and husband,Leon on their first trip to Slovakia. They joined a team from Fargo, North Dakota to teach English at what was then called The Bible School.This was only the second summer that the Bible School had conversational English during the summer, taught by Americans. In 2006, Gary and Jeannine joined six others from the Central Coast of California (CA). We were joined by a group from Wheaton, Illinois on our trip to teach conversational English. Gary was the leader of this American team. There were teams from CA going going to Slovakia in 2005, 07, & 08, but Gary and Jeannine were not on those. In 2009 the team from CA was 15 strong. This included 4 from Fresno, one from Camarillo and the rest from the Central Coast of CA. It was in August of 2009 the Gary and Jeannine were invited to come back to the school for a year. |
