| Introduction | The Missioners of Christ is a Catholic lay community based in Virginia that works to form youth and young adults in the Faith. Recognizing the command of Christ to go ``to the ends of the earth,`` the Missioners came to Honduras in 1998, and to our current location at the invitation of the Fransican Friars of the Renewal in 2003. In partnership with the friars and the Diocese of Comayagua we have implemented outreach programs to meet the needs of the poor as well as discipleship and evangelization programs for the youth and young adults in the local villages. |
