| Introduction | Scott and I were high school sweethearts, we have been together 16 years and married 14 years. We have 2 daughters and 2 sons and live in California. Scott has been in the Army for 9 years and I am a stay at home mom as well as a volunteer for Scott's units Family Readiness Group. We lived in Colorado Springs for 6 years, Germany for 3 years and now we live California. Military life is definitely not for everyone but at this point it is all we know and I can't imagine anything else. I didn't used to think I was very strong but when you have to be both parents to your kids for a year or more, strong is the only thing you can be and you learn to value the time you have as a family that much more. We are very blessed to have found each other so early in life and to have brought 4 beautiful kids into the world. The kids and I are so proud of Scott and we will be waiting for him with open arms when he returns from each and every deployment, training, field exercise or tdy. We are one proud Army family! |
| Interests | Reading, Scrapbooking (I need to catch up on that), Playing with the kids, finding new and intersting recipes,cooking and I'm starting to get into exercising more as a a stress reliever. |
