Introduction | Hello everyone, my name is Deb Semmens. My very first quilt I made was when I learned that my oldest son was expecting his first child. She just turned 10 so I guess I have been quilting for about 10 and a half years now. I learned alot of bad habits in the begining, I tried to teach myself, but quickly learned that I needed to take classes at the local quilt shop. I was hooked! I purchased a longarm to keep up with my own quilts. Now I want to quilt for my local community. I took a look one day at my scraps (from 10 years of quilting) and thought I could probably make some pretty quilts out of this fabric. So that is what I'm doing with the help of quilting friends. Making twin and larger quilts for the Crisis and Advocacy Center locally. |
