| Introduction | In speaking of myself, I am a 40 year old freelance writer/poet. I am also a 2005 hurricane Katrina survivor and a proud mother of a teenage daughter. Presently, I am a homemaker, but I have been actively pursuing a writing career ever since 2005. Although I have had great success in being published as a poet, my overall goal and dream in being a writer is to continue pursuing my dream of someday becoming a published magazine or book author. Over the course of five years I have written numerous poems, greeting card verses, quotes, magazine articles, stories that have been converted into books and much more. Much of my writings are in relation to: money, cancer, spirituality, happiness, the economy, peace, war, health & fitness, family parenting, marriage, relationships, a woman true beauty and completeness and much more. | Favorite Movies | I enjoy a variety of movies. However, I'm not a huge fan of martial arts or action films. Some of my favorite movies are as follow: Tyler Perry's movies, The Color Purple, What's Love Got To Do With It, Dream Girls, Forrest Gump, and many more.. |
| Favorite Music | I enjoy listening to a variety of music. Some of my interests are, R&B, Gospel, old school& new school, Blues, Jazz, and some rap, but not too hard core. |
| Favorite Books | I really enjoy reading what ever I get my hands on, and whatever get's my attention. Some of my favorite authors and books are: Charles F. Stanley's ( The Source of My strength), Jerry Savelle's ( The Nature of Faith), all T. D. Jakes, Kate Mc Veigh's ( The Blessing of Favor), and many other christian books. |
