Dr. Andres matriculated from Columbia University. After college, he achieved his graduate schooling and medical degree and training from Harvard University/Medical School and Michigan State University. He completed the competitive five-year combined general surgery/plastic surgery residency at the highly-regarded Grand Rapids/MSU program, and nurtured his fondness of breast surgery and reconstruction, learning from many world experts in these fields including Dr. Dennis Hammond, and learned the most advanced techniques in these areas. He completed additional fellowship training in Advanced Aesthetic and Microsurgical/Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at the internationally-renowned Mayo Clinic.
