| Introduction | I am a New York City public school teacher with over seven years of experience teaching children with various abilities and disabilities. Currently I teach 4th grade in Manhattan, in a lovely neighborhood with incredibly supportive colleagues and parents. Continuing education and professional development is vital to classroom success. Since graduating from Teachers College, Columbia University, in 2005 with a masters in Special Education, I have participated in workshops, graduate-level courses, and study groups each year. How fortunate, I know! In my heart, I truly believe that information not shared is information wasted.
