Introduction	I was probably born deaf/hard of hearing (next to zero hearing on the left and a ~90% loss on the right) though my parents did not figure it out until I was five. I've worn a hearing aid ever since but never learned sign language. I did Judo as a kid and for many years school, work, family, etc. kept me busy.
