Interests	Sick: TV, crocheting, web surfing, and face book-ing, laughing with my crazy-ass kids, playing on the Wii late into the night with one of them while John snores away in the same room. For some reason stifling laughter can be the best kind. Listening to my son's crazy responses as he cleans when he doesn't want to. How many parents get to hear, "I'm going to call my union rep. I don't think this is in my contract at all"? Before Sick and During My Short Reprieves: EATING!!!!, traveling, hiking, skiing, festivals, parades, The Smithsonians (when I lived there), hugging relatives, galavanting with Jana, a truly amazing young woman and my loving, funny, intelligent, happy, adventurous daughter. Jana and I still get to galavant from time to time.
Favorite Movies	Theater: Chicago, Casablanca, Some Like It Hot, Atonement, Driving Miss Daisey, The Notebook, A Walk in the Clouds, All Indiana Joneses, Charlotte Gray TV movies: all Agatha Christie's, A Christmas Story, Miracle on 34th Street (orig).
Favorite Music	Sinatra, some 60s, Journey, Boston, ZZ Top, 38 Special, Buffet, Alicia Keys, very, very few from the 80s.
Favorite Books	The Grapes of Wrath, The Day Christ Died, Mitford Series, Crazy in Alabama
