| Introduction | I am a Massachusetts certified teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages and French. I am a Literacy Consultant with Heady Headquarters for Language and Literacy. I hold a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Literacy, and I have trained teachers for the Riggs Institute, both in Massachusetts and in Colorado. Ever since I taught my daughters to read and write with the Riggs program, I have used it in tutoring, camp, and when possible, in classroom environments. I love to see students of all ages and ability levels develop self confidence when they begin to master reading and writing! |
