IntroductionI retired after 25 years of service at Guilford Technical Community in Graphic Arts Design. Prior to teaching,I worked as a furniture illustrator and inevitably became involved with sketching children's portraits in the public and private school settings in NC and beyond. I have earned the following degrees: AAS (Associate in Applied Science), BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts), MFA (Master of Fine Arts),and MTS (Master of Theological Studies) from respectively Guilford Technical Institute (now Guilford Technical Community College), University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and Hood Theological Seminary. As an author, my first book was published in 2007 entitled "Out of the Miry Clay." Presently, I'm a Commentary writer for WNCC e-NEWS.
