Introduction	I am originally from small-town Ohio, but spent most of my life working for the Federal Govt. in the Washington, DC area. I relocated in early 2008 to the beach. Later that year, I adopted a Shih Tzu puppy named Missy; hence my other blog, The Missy Diaries, was born. I nearly always have at least two books going at the same time and do a variety of volunteer work.
Interests	Writing, reading, healthy eating, exercise, computer games, The Sims, laughing and making others laugh, bringing someone a new perspective they hadn't seen before.

As I recall, "Surrender, Dorothy" was written on a cloudy sky in the Wizard of Oz. If the Wicked Witch can do it, so can I!
