| Introduction | I'm a correctional officer at a medium custody prison. The pay's okay and there's good job security but I don't want to spend the rest of my life babysitting felons. I want to write. I want to write until my fingers fall off. And then, I'll dictate to my computer and I'll do that until I can speak no longer. I want to create new worlds, new myths, new heroes. And I don't just write because I want to. I write because I must. These ideas flood my brain and if I don't let them out, they stagnate and rot and mosquitoes suck out all the blood and my creative juices run dry. I am currently preparing my manuscript of my first novel, Lost Gods, to send out to agents and publishers. |
| Interests | Spending time with my wife and kids, writing, watching movies, listening to music, playing golf when I can, watching football and baseball, playing video games... yeah, so I'm a big kid, but that's the reason people think I'm still in my 20's. I have no problem with that. |
