| Introduction | After being unnerved by accounts unverified of goings on within the community I was moved to become active in trying to make a difference and play a role in decisions effecting the community even if that role was simply to position myself to be better informed. Leading me to become a prospective chairperson of the SCC(School Community Council) as well as becoming actively involved with the PTA as Public Relations VP. As a single parent with desire to grow and further involve myself in the task of raising my children, and where the community in which we live can always be improved upon. I am looking forward with hope to find a stronger more vibrant active and involved community in which all who are a member feel empowered and responsible in it's betterment sharing in the bragging rights over what is a truly wonderfull place to live. |
