Introduction | Irony always captures my attention, especially as a pastor's wife and mom. I think old junk is better than new junk. Relaxing is moving the furniture. I feel made over when I paint something. I'd rather stay home than go out. Every time I get freaked out about what you think about me, I remember that everybody needs grace and space, not just me. |
Interests | God, wife & mom, old junk, etsy, church planting, old houses, theology, the emergent church, mosaics, flowers, photography, amateur art, history, home-making, biographies, home-business, coffee, food, old dishes |
Favorite Movies | In America, Napoleon Dynamite, Signs, The Notebook, Speed (I know...), Baz Lurhman's Red Curtain Trilogy, Notting Hill, Love Actually, Chronicles of Narnia, Elizabethtown, Walk the Line, Stranger than Fiction |
Favorite Music | U2, The Carpenters, Switchfoot, Johnny Cash, my sister Ashley, Rich Mullins, Kelly Clarkson, The Weepies, Sara Groves, Sufjan Stevens, Mindy Smith, Patty Griffin |
Favorite Books | Anne of Green Gables, Blue Like Jazz, Under the Mercy, 12 Steps for a Recovering Pharisee (Like Me), The Color of Water, Girl Meets God, Mudhouse Sabbath, The Spy Wore Red, Velvet Elvis, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn |
You're wearing a sweater that stretches down to your feet. What color belt do you put on?
If you check my eighth grade photo, you'll see I'm wearing a black belt with it. It's very slimming.
