Introduction	Firstly, for clarity of subject matter, this blogsite is of JEWISH & ISRAELI content. Motivated by a passion for the God of Israel, the photographer seeks to capture the essence of Hashem in His Land and His covenant people. The nations have been an historical witness for over 2,000 years of the failure of invading forces and occupying countries to make the 'desert bloom', or to 'rebuild the ancient wasteplaces' of Israel. A rabbi once asked me: "When did your romance with Israel begin?" And I can honestly reply: "When Hashem made it clear through the prophets that He was faithful to fulfill His promises to the Jews as firsthandedly my generation witnessed the rebirth of the nation of Israel, and the return of the Jews from the four corners of the earth. I have experienced with amazement as we have resettled our ancient inheritance!" Occupied land referred to as "Palestine" since the expulsion of the Jews by the Romans, the territory once again became known as Israel, the eternal home of the 12 tribes of Yaakov. Change its name and you change its identity.
