Introduction	The concept of Patchwork Pony really begins with my mother who made hobby horses for awhile when we were small. I started making them last year and have really enjoyed the process. As I thought about the concept of patchwork I feel that it really reflects my life. I am a little bit of everything that hopefully ends up as something beautiful or fantastic in the end. I am a working mama of two great kids who keep me on my toes. I am married to an wonderful man who takes good care of us, who works hard, and is very tolerant of my creative process. I love to sew and cook. I teach both at the high school level amongst many other topics. I have become very inspired by the blogging of many great women sharing their stories and skills. I thought maybe it would be fun to share mine.
Favorite books	The Premonition Series by Amy Bartol, Animal Dreams by Barbara Kingsolver, The Time Travelers Wife, I used to have an obsession with Stephen King, but he broke my reader's heart and we aren't friends anymore. I am sure he is crushed, I love the entire Harry Potter series and was so pleased by how it was ended.
