| Introduction | Socially I am usually a jovial joker and enjoy the company of others, though I must admit my quips raise more moans than laughs. In my opinion I am lucky, I have a family of three excellent children, all grown up now with their own lives and all of whom are a source of great pride for this father and grandfather, my grandchildren are wonderful and each of the six are a separate character with their own traits. Luck shone on my work as well, I have only performed tasks I have chosen and very little that was not of my selection. During those years I have learned so many different facets of practical things, and this education has all evolved due to my first surprise job as a professional model maker. Life has gone full circle and I am now involved in model engineering again, my membership of a club exercises my skills regularly. My friend, who lives with me here, is a blessing and keeps me from falling into the anorak catagory and preserves my sanity while the turmoil of normal life presses in the opposite direction ! I hope my scribblings will amuse you, and I look forward to my readers comments. Brian Everett. |
