Introduction | Art classes were always my favorite in school, but had you asked me back then if I thought I would be a professional artist some day, I probably would have laughed. Never would I have dreamed of taking such a passion, and actually turning it in to a career. Becoming a mother encouraged me to pick up my camera more as the years went by and I really tried to push myself in order to grow as a photographer. Then I had a moment that I will never forget. My oldest son was lying on the floor and I quickly snapped a few photos. Later, as I was viewing them, there it was in front of me, every bit of my son’s sweet and sincere personality was bursting out of that image and I was in awe. That was the exact moment that I knew I had to push this “hobby” even further and really try to turn this in to something more. My favorite part of photography is capturing moments and expressions, even if just of the smallest kind. I feel truly blessed for so many reasons and one of them is being able to use the gift of creativity while being allowed in to the hearts of the people that stand before my lens. This is something that I cherish deeply and hope to never take for granted. |
