| Introduction | Fifty-something, red haired, chub. Loves to quilt and scrapbook and other crafty things. Former Garden Goddess of a local hardware store who lost her job in Nov. of 2009. That caused me to figure out what I wanted to do when I grew up! I went back to school and studied Medical Insurance Billing & Coding, stayed on the President's List, was a Student Ambassador, and got to do an awesome externship in the Collections Dept. (I dealt with collecting from insurance companies for patients)for a Fortune 500 Company. I applied for that same job I externed as (for everafter known as a PAR - Patient Account Representative) and was hired three weeks later!!! My new career is off to a wonderful start! It was like getting a fairy tale ending to my life crisis. Mostly I feel very blessed. I try to find the joy in life thru my trust and faith in God. |
