| Introduction | Background: BA/English, BBA/Marketing, MBA/Management); Over 30 years in the car business; in all facets of parts, service, and sales in both the after market and on the (OEM) side. I trained people (sales and customer retention) and consulted (improvement of business practices to maximize profitability) both nationally and internationally. I retired at an early age and then made a killing playing in the stock market right after 9/11. Currently I am exploring the possibilities of making money on the internet. It is a difficult path with a 90 degree learning curve but I love learning. There is no doubt in my mind that I will be successful in this endeavour and then I will do my best to help/teach newbie types how to do the same. |
| Interests | Music, Movies, Entertainment of all types, The Automobile Industry, The Credit Industry, The Buying and Selling of Businesses. I honestly believe you have a much better chance in life to be happy if you will help others to get what they want and need. |
| Favorite movies | Sports (and any other) movies where the underdog prevails/ succeeds are my absolute faves. Comedies, Science Fiction, Futuristic, Non-slasher type horror, epics, legendary, drama (although I avoid that one in real life) Action and Adventure....Geez have I left anything out?? |
| Favorite music | I was bought up in a big way with music. I play several instruments, write, sing, and record. I have even experienced some success (even though quite limited) in the industry. Hence I have a very heavy like for something termed, "singer/songwriter" music. But all in all, I love nearly all music and that which I don't love; I can usually at least appreciate it. Acoustic, Independent, Blues, Dance, Classic Rock, Oldies, Soul/Motown, Rhythm and Blues, Classic, Pop, Easy Listening, Smooth Jazz, Alternative...get the idea? About the only one I can't find to like about is Rap--even though I honestly love lots of hip-hop. Imagine that! |
| Favorite books | I admit the Master's Degree completely burned my out of reading (at least books). Just before I quit reading though, Steven King was probably my favorite but the poor guy lost his ability to write a decent ending. After "It" I don't think I would have ever read another by him. Then the graduate classes started! |
