| Introduction | My name is Serena Star, I am a 23 year old photographer, model, makeup artist, an aspiring YA/fantasy author from a small town in Southern New Jersey. I specialize in Fashion, Beauty, Glamour, Pinup, and Boudoir inspired work. I have been involved in the arts since I was little doing everything from drawing to acting. As I grew up I found my skills all fit together in the photography world, building sets and designing costumes. In 2004 I got my first SLR camera. In 2006 I enrolled at Antonelli Institute of Art and Photography, was VP of the Antonelli Chapter of SPS my second year, and graduated Valedictorian with best of portfolio. Since then I have joined PPA and earned my Master Photographer Degree. I have had many publications in books, magazines, and a variety of other Showcases and Awards. My goal is to continue to grow my studio making non-models feel just like the fashion models I’ve photographed. |

| Favorite books | Alice in Wonderland is a big inspiration in my life, but I love The Hobbit, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Dragon Chronicles, Unicorn Chronicles, Talking to Dragons by Patricia C. Wrede (and the rest of the series), Killashandra & the Crystal singer series, Dragon Lance, Chronicles of Narnia....I like kid books....(Go scholastic XD) Right now I'm in love with the Paranormalcy Trilogy, Wicked Lovely, Hunger Games, and many others! |
