Introduction	I'm a 39yo Finance Manager with a young family. I've always loved being involved in sport, playing soccer and cricket when I was younger. I took up triathlon many years ago, drawn by the challenge of pushing your body to go as fast as you can sustain across the three disciplines. In 2010, I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. After getting my head around Insulin and diabetes management, I've set out to return to racing triathlons and other endurance events to demonstrate that people with diabetes can race endurance sports and do it well.
