| Introduction | i'm Tim Simon, and I know what pain, joy, depression, self hate, hope, love, and real relationships are. I want to be a real and open person. I want to make you think and laugh - perhaps even cry. I want you to know that you are not alone (whether it's abandonment, lost love, pornography, shame, depression, despair, failure, or suicide, I've known and/or know all of these - to mention a few). I want you to laugh. I want you to think. I want you to know hope. I would like to write thought provoking, laugh inducing, self examining bits in this blog. My mind does not function like most people's - I'll have an outrageously silly post, followed by a sobering self examining post where I share my struggles and dreams. I don't consistently write about one thing, because my mind is made up of many thoughts and many emotions. In other words, my mind is made up of a lot of thought ingredients and I mix them all up in a pot, cook them with hardship and hopefulness, and try to serve them to you in a well thought out manner. Thus, mindsoup. I hope you find enjoyment here! |
