| Introduction | I started painting 22 years ago after watching Bob Ross a few times. I took a 20 year hiatus until I saw Donna Dewberry on the create channel and decided to give it a try. I have never painted with acrylic before and find it very different from oil but I like it so far. I find it incredibly relaxing, as well as fun, just like 22 years ago. Since starting to paint again I find myself looking at pretty much everything differently. How clouds appear and how light filters through trees and leaves. I love art and art museums. I don't feel I am a great artist by any means. Heck, I consider myself more a painter than an artist but am always looking to improve. |
