Introduction	I'm a formally trained photographer... although that formal training was actually in Linguistics. :) My lifelong love of photography and my newly rekindled love of backpacking should make for some interesting new photo work. And incidentally, I'm still trying to figure out the best way to fit a DSLR into my lightweight backpacking gear.

Favorite books	I've never met a book I didn't like. Well, I guess that's not strictly true, but I find it hard to put down any book, even if it's mediocre.

Why don't you ever wear a scarf? It doesn't need to be cold outside for your neck to feel naked.

Well, mostly because they're still on the knitting needles. I start SOOOO many scarves, but never finish them!
