| Introduction | I'm a bleeding heart liberal teaching graduate computer science at one of the few academic institutions where most of the faculty lean to the right. In my younger years, I worshiped at the altar of math, science, and engineering. Later in life I opened my eyes to the humanities. Now I read everything I can get my hands on (well, except dime store romances) and one of my side projects is writing a young adult suspense/mystery novel. One of my ulterior motives is to encourage more women to pursue careers in computing. |
