She teaches English Literature in the Humanities Department, and also teaches in the Extended Day Program at HSES. Ms. Smith earned her Bachelor's Degrees in English Literature and Drama from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. She earned her Masters Degree in Adolescent Literacy from Fordham University in New York, New York. Her interests outside the classroom include long-distance running, writing, attending the theater, camping, and fishing.
