IntroductionIn a flash, I seem to be pushing 50! I adore being Mum to 4 rapidly growing up kids, who amaze me and drive me nuts;) I’m passionate about my day job, am privileged to work with amazing people and care for those coming to the sweet autumnal end of this life. I have been married for 20+ years to my long-suffering hubby, who is patient, kind and doesn’t listen or remember ANYTHING which lights my touchpaper frequently ;) He says my least developed skill is being able to stop doing! But I love yoga, & attempt meditation/ mindfulness! I have always judged myself as not arty or creative, in the traditional sense. I cannot draw or paint.... but I can see in my mind a clear picture of a beautiful room, a gorgeous piece of furniture, a glorious garden as it could be. I hold that photographic image in my mind, and work towards that joyful nest creation. I have a sharp mind, can multi-task like a demon, and tend to drive myself way past fatigue :) I have many faults - I’m impatient,hot-tempered & hypersensitive. My friends tell me I’m kind, loving & wise, witheringly witty, with a very dirty laugh :)
InterestsNest-making, baking, fruit gin-infusing & partaking, bargain hunting, upcycling, sitting at my kitchen table with family, laughing with girlfriends til my face hurts, gardening, yoga, meditation
Favorite moviesSleepless in Seattle, the Avengers, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Love Actually
Favorite musicAnything to sing along to (badly & loudly): often stolen from my teenager’s Spotify playlists - from Rag’n’Bone man, Ed Sheeran, Calvin Harris, Stormzy to Fleetwood Mac & Abba
Favorite booksOoh...loads - cookery & gardening books make my shelves groan, feel good novels on my Kindle keep me awake into the night; inspiring/thought-provoking discourses on subjects from law of attraction to spirituality distract me from the chores :)

In the dream where you show up to school naked, why do you never go swimming?

Because I’ve just been skinny-dipping already!
