About me

Introduction Graduated PhD University of Texas at Arlington in 2002. I began studies at UTA in their internationally recognized interdisciplinary Humanities Program that was dismantled by the Higher education committee appointed by G.W. Bush upon his first election as Governor of Texas. As a consequence, my degree is in English studies with a Rhetoric focus rather than a Humanities degree, though the course of study was the same. Academia and I came to a quick understanding that most people in academia have little imagination and an even smaller sense of humor. I've published a few pieces on Democracy and higher education. I have taught Composition and Technical Writing. I lived as a social hermit in a northern state that still believes in the rise of the Confederacy. I moved to a state in the heart of the historical confederacy and left to work overseas as soon as the 2008 Rec(Depr)ession overtook and destroyed the economy of subsistence most of the US population attempts to survive within.
