Introduction	I am a student at Utah State University, majoring in journalism/communications and minoring in sociology. I am seriously considering duel majoring JCOM with political science Currently a sophomore, I returned from a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in July 2010. I love to be both a carrier and observant of important issues to the public, and I especially like to see the way a culture is driven by both the media and its theological, political, historical and sociological influences. Anything about how society is impacted by the humanities are intriguing to me. Writing about it? Even better.

Favorite books	The Standard Works of the LDS Church, particularly the New Testament, Book of Mormon, and Pearl of Great Price Pop-culture: Harry Potter is pretty good. The Chronicles of Narnia
