| Introduction | I'm a Californian who has also spent time living in the midwest (Chicago) and the east (Philadelphia) before returning a couple of years ago to the sunny beaches of my native state. I have a PhD in medieval and Renaissance literature, and a Master's in Library Science. My many interests have taken me from teaching Chaucer and Shakespeare as a college professor, to working with everything from medieval manuscripts to Ben Franklin letters as a rare book librarian, and finally working on a variety of historical and archival digital projects as both a project manager and developer. My crafting interests brought me to blogger, where I've just started my first blog about my newest hobby, quilting. My pet bird, Spenser, often tries to assist with my blogging. |
