| Introduction | I returned to school late in life to obtain my nursing degree, and I became a public health nurse. I have been a frog collector (figurines and novelties, NOT the amphibians themselves) for about 30 years, and I am a new (but not young ) bird watcher. I am the wife of the most wonderful man in the world (sorry, bragger-bragger, but it's true), and I have 3 wonderful children. The youngest, a 19 year-od daughter, is leaving Monday for her sophomore year at a major university. I have 2 precious grandchildren whom I see only infrequently due to distance and scheduling difficulties. My grandson is involved in several sports and lives approximately 2 hours away. My granddaughter (who begins kindergarten soon) lives almost a thousand miles away. Heavy sigh. |
