Introduction	Most importantly, I'm a mother to Julian (4) and Jocelyn (1). Everything I do revolves around them...as it should! Some call me a hippy, but I'm the kind of eco-friendly, organic gardening, semi-crunchy, natural birthing, breastfeeding, feminist mom, that thinks no childhood is complete until they've played in mud, climbed a tree, and eaten something they found under the couch. I've been a stay at home mom since June 2011. As you'll see, I'm no Martha Stewart, but hey, with the help of Pinterest, I'm at least getting my house the way I want it. In addition to being a stay at home mom, I'm a photographer, mehndi (henna) artist, designer/costumer/seamstress, lover of steampunk, and crafter of all things spingly! I love cooking, baking, gardening, and finding ways to make my house a home! On the flip side I'm an avid "prepper" and always love to try and find new ways to make sure my family and I are safe and fed when the s*%$ hits the fan...because pinterest can't save you when the lights go out. :D
