| Introduction | This blog is a conversation around the creative ways to make tangible that which is usually invisible to us. In this instance that starting reference point is in relation to a sub-cellular life. I have been fascinated at how the studio process has been informing an unconscious exploration of the sub-cellular. Painting motifs reminiscent of cell-like forms have been percolating through the work for a number of years now and in hindsight are hinged on earlier explorations of the body in terms of what is seen and unseen, visible and invisible on many levels. Comments, dialogue and sharing are warmly invited on this blog in order to further this conversation between science and art. |
