About me

Gender FEMALE
Occupation P.E Teacher, Crafter
Location Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
Introduction I was born and grew up in Newfoundland on the Canadian East coast. I trained as a PE teacher & spent 2 years teaching in NL before teaching several years in the UK and traveling Europe and then spending several years in Tasmania. For the time being I call Kitchener, Ontario my home. I learned to sew on an old foot pedal singer when I was in my early teens, starting with crazy quilts and then moving on to traditional patchwork quilting. While I still make quilts I've branched out into handbags, wallets and accessories. I enjoy all things crafty and sometimes can be easily distracted from my sewing by other projects - especially at Christmas time! -
Interests Sewing, sports, movies & music, hiking & camping, travel, art & craft (of all sorts), craft ciders & beers.
