What reason do you have to believe the earth is flat?
The Earth is flat because the Pirates off the shores of Madagascar willed it to be that way. It was because they needed somewhere to hide store dead bodies where no one would find them. NASA wouldn't let them fly to space, so they decided the Earth was flat, and it got around that whole ugly lawsuit...
