| Introduction | I'm the author of Learning to Calculate the Half Life (Zinka Press, 2001) and two poetry chapbooks. My second full-length poetry collection, Necessary Turns, is due out from Word Press in 2010. Lately I've also been writing short fiction and slices of prose memoir. In addition to teaching with Tracy and Sara through Around the Block, I teach in the MFA program at Rosemont College in Pennsylvania and work as a poet in the schools in eastern PA. After raising two children in suburban Philadelphia, my husband, two dog-like cats and I joined the empty- nester great migration and became city dwellers 3 years ago. When I need to escape urban life, I head to Wellfleet, MA, on Cape Cod. |
