IntroductionPlant & Animals Welfare Society - Mumbai (PAWS-Mumbai) is celebrating SPARROW FEST to mark 20th March as WORLD SPARROW DAY – INDIA (WSD-India), PAWS-Mumbai organise various competitions and events like Sparrow Drawing, Poem & Story for Student community and Sparrow Photographs for Citizens which includes Photo Journalist too. During the event we also salutes the people who have been actively involved in sparrow conservation work by honoring with Sparrow Friend Award in two Categories that is “Individual and Group”. This event is supported by various national and international record agencies and also by NGO’s. The winners of the various competition were awarded with PAWS-MUMBAI AWARD which is powered by Apeejay Karmayuga - The Right every Wrong Generation- a campaign instituted by iCONGO to democratize heroism and Karmaveer Chakra- a medallion for voluntary action instituted in 2009 by iCONGO, in association with the UN. Since 2011, all the events are been organized under the supervision and guidance of PAWS-Mumbai Founder and Social Activist Sunish Subramanian Kunju.
