| Introduction | I did my engineering in late nineties from NED university Karachi and design and fabrication were my first fantasies. Consequently I worked on AutoCAD, Mechanical Desktop, ProEngineer, Ansys etc. I changed my field to sound and vibration analysis three years later. MATLAB was the tool of my choice. In 2005 I won a scholarship and went to France. I did my masters and PHD from INSA de Lyon in the field of Vibrations and Acoustics. During my five years of stay over there, I was exposed to a myriad of scientific and computational techniques. A friend of mine suggested data mining, and boy, it was love at first sight. Ever since I have not looked back and I have continued researching in this field along with other domains of my interest. |
