| Introduction | Momo Pianist/composer/arranger, was born in Toyama, Japan. She graduated from the Jazz Piano Department of Senzoku Gakuen University and the Jazz Composition Department of Berklee College of Music, which awarded to her Toshiko Akiyoshi award, In Boston. She has also participated BMI jazz composers workshop in 2005-06 season, as well as in other workshops. Since returning to Japan, Momo has performed in various concerts and also participated in many works as a composer and arranger across a wide range of genres. She released her solo work “Hikari Furu Mori” in 2024. With a unique focus on original music, Momo aims to create a musical space where people can enjoy connecting beyond any boundaries. 2025-2026 Kanazawa citizen’s art village’s artist in residents. /Momo ピアニスト､作編曲家 富山市岩瀬出身｡洗足音楽大学ジャズピアノ科在学中に奨学金を得て渡米｡バークリー音楽大学ジャズ作曲(科秋吉敏子賞受賞)で学び､両校を卒業｡卒業後はBMIジャズコンポーザーズワークショップ､ヘンリーマ ンシーニインスティテュートに参加し研鑽を積む｡ 帰国後はピアニスト､作編曲家として多くの作品に関わり､ダンスなどとの公演も行う｡チャリティーコン サート､また子どもや障害を持つ方も自由に楽しめるインクルーシヴコンサートの企画及び出演にも積極的 に取り組んでいる｡ ジャンルを問わず多くのプロジェクトに参加し色彩溢れる自由な作品と演奏は高い評価を得ている｡ 近年声を使った表現も取り入れ､音が描く物語の可能性を追求している｡ 金沢市民芸術村2025-26年度ミュージック工房・レジデントアーティスト。 人種､性別､年齢､発達の違いなど多様な垣根を越えながら､心地よく繋がることのできる音楽の場をつく る事を目標の一つとしている｡ |
