| Introduction | Hello! I'm the Farmer's Wife...have been for 40 years! We live on a lil' farm now that we've "retired" in the mountains of East Tennessee. I'm the Momma to 13 children, with only the last 2 at home now. My oldest is 38 and my youngest is 13! Time sure flies! We've been blessed with 12 sweet grandchildren too! We've home schooled all our children since 1986 and continue to this day...no gold watches, just more and more blessings and wisdom from our Heavenly Faither. We farmed commercially and sold in Franklin, Knoxville, Oak Ridge, Chattanooga and seemingly every city in between with 13 farmer's markets and with our CSA. Now we're recreating our "dream" homestead and enjoying a "slower pace". I've been directed by the Lord to share what He has taught me over the years in my blog...home schooling, baking, fermenting/sourdough, sewing, frugal living, and to share how God takes a family's life and directs them to the life and ministry He desires.
