| Introduction | I am a free-lance writer, wife and mother of three. I currently write a weekly column in my local newspaper focused mostly on politics and media - the subjects of my educational background. Recently, a column took on a life of its own as it dovetailed with some of my own research and activism interests and generated a lot of interest in the community.
