| Introduction | My name is Stephanie but by now I am sure you know that. I am a 24 year old Aquarius with a soul for the arts. I am an event coordinator in a special little city in NY, and although I don’t have the picture perfect life it is my life and I will stick with it… if that is okay. My fiancé’s name really isn’t John but we can pretend right. Our mission: taking an uninhabitable house and flipping it into a home. On September 15th I signed the papers and we have a scheduled closing date of November 20th. So in approximately two months I will officially be a home owner. If it was only that easy, if life never threw a curve ball. This is it and I am full of unrelated emotions. But I know we can do it. I mean after all it is the American Dream! Why am I doing this? The blog I mean. To keep sanity and to keep my head above water, a daily reality check so to speak. I want to remember this for all the good and the bad it might bring. In five years from now I will sit down reread some of these posts and remember the journey. |
