Introduction Born in 1958, I was the 7th born of 7 in Sacramento, the capital of the richest state in the richest nation on Earth. I was licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 1990 and have raised three beloved children. Their biological father (my husband of 15 years), suddenly left the family in 1998. A year later, I met Cliff, who seemed much like an angel sent from God, and we wed in 2000. I innately seemed to carry a passion for God and the poor. At 13, I discovered that Christ offers dear intimacy with all who truly choose to make him the Lord of their life, and I walked with him until college. Studying politics at 16, I became horrified by the disparity between wealthy American Christians and the Third World poor. Noting my inability to sway the hearts of other believers, I separated myself from Christianity altogether. By age 23, I realized that my sole years of inner peace were those when I walked with Christ. Therefore, for the next 28 years, I sought to hear and follow His Holy Spirit. It is this Holy Spirit that leads me now to begin this website, though it is with blind faith that I do so.
