| Introduction | I got my first sewing machine at age 9 and I haven't stopped sewing since! After managing the Education Department at McCall's in the 1980's, I started Home Dec In A Sec as a home based business after my first daughter was born. I teamed up with neighbor and good friend Ellen DeLucia and together we raised our families and built the Home Dec In A Sec brand name by selling over 4.5 million sewing patterns for McCall's! In addition, we've just filmed a class for Craftsy.com called Sewing Custom Valances, wrote the Window Treatments Idea Book for Taunton Press, and have made scores of homes more beautiful with our custom window decorating business. Our mission is simple - to help and inspire you to create rooms you love to come home to. |

Which is more important to you and why: flexibility or expandability?
Flexibility because life is never predictable and you have to constantly allow yourself to be "flexible enough" so you can adapt to change.
