Introduction Robin Gager has been cooking since the day she became the proud owner of a Holly Hobby oven, and she hasn’t looked back since! As a young child, Robin was in the habit of telling chefs at famous restaurants just what they could do to improve their recipes. Robin’s parents were sure that she would become a food critic, but instead she became a cook! In fact, she had her own catering company when she lived in New York City. Her first passion, however, has always been animals, Robin has bottle-fed and raised countless racoons, squirrels, and birds as a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. She was elected to the position of student zoo head at The Millbrook Trevor Teaching Zoo, and she has volunteered. and worked in the capacity of vet tech, at several local animal shelters. Robin currently plays electric violin in the band Broken Arrow, and teaches violin, guitar and piano. She lives in New Rochelle, NY with her three cats; Leonard, Fozzy Bear, and Mr. Muzz. DON'T EAT ME! A Cookbook for Animal Lovers is Robin's first cookbook.
