Introduction	I was born with a mild form of Spina Bifida. It did not really impact on my life until my late teens/early twenties. Indeed, it was not even diagnosed until I injured my back playing rugby at school. I first began getting real problems from my back in my early twenties, when I began to suffer from constant and debilitating pain in the lower back.
