| Introduction | Hello! This is Megan, and there are two reasons I am writing this blog that you need to know: First, I am writing a blog because "nearly one in five U.S. adults live with a mental illness" according to the National Institute of Mental Health website on mental illness (2020) and I know I am not alone. Second and most importantly, I would not be here if it were not for Jesus Christ my LORD and Savior as I suffered and continue to struggle with mental illness. Today, I find myself living with the same struggle, but I am no longer in a prison. I am free and at peace because of Jesus.
