Introduction	I am a third year doctoral student at UC Berkeley. Prior to grad school, I served as a kindergarten and second grade teacher and as the Reading First reading coach at a charter school in the Bay Area. My hobbies include running, hiking, cooking, and watching movies. Special acknowledgments to my husband, Jeff, for teaching me so much about Excel, helping to edit my writing, and maintaining my sanity and joy.
